Aside from the world of the living there is the “world in between” plus “Heaven” and “Hell”.Onis are different beings, called demons but not evil. Akuma though, are evil demons. Both Oni and Akumas, just as humans souls, can go to the living world and the world in between. Shinigami are different, immortal – with rules – and can go anywhere.

Now what happens when a Shinigami loose her memories and is faced with basic humans questions (who am I, where did I come from, where do I go from here)?
