Summary: The small, northern town of Aosta, Italy has always been neutral and peaceful - vampires and humans alike call the place home. But lately there have been murders. No one is aware of whom the killer is, but since both races are targeted, they blame each other, which is causing civil unrest in the town.

Concerned that this is part of a plot by the Rozen Kreuz Orden, Cardinal Caterina Sforza sends the dynamic duo of Abel and Esther to the little town to help the small church located there in their investigation.
