I adore the Phantom of the Opera, and I wish that I could give poor Erik a happy ending. So, I've turned to fan fiction. (I am well aware that there is a sequel by Mr. Lloyd-Webber. I don't like it.)
This story takes place fiteen years or so after Christine and Raoul escape the Phantom's lair. The Phantom has been forgotten, and the Opera House has been closed down due to a devestating fire. A homeless young woman known only as Faye from the countryside is caught in a storm and takes refuge in the abandoned Opera House.
She finds it's not as abandoned as she thought. The Phantom lives! And finds her in his Opera....
