Description: Alright, I am sick and tired of scowering the whole dang internet looking for one decent CYOA, or Create-Your-Own-Adventure, fanfiction for anime. So, for those of you who side with me on this one or those who have no idea what I am talking about but love a good challenge, hear my plea!
I request a CYOA of any anime, preferabley Naruto, though any will do. If you don't know how to make one, let me put it into simple terms. You have a opening page where normally there are instructions on what to do for people who don't already know and then below that is the beginning of the story followed by a question and a page number that will lead to the next scene.
I.E. Sitting in your chair, you slurp noisely at your ramen. Looking into the reflection of the lick-cleaned bowl, you catch your reflection and admire your head band.
What is the symbol on your headband?
Leaf [p. 2]
And so on and so forth. That actually came from a CYOA I managed to find, but not really.
ANYWAY! It doesn't really matter what you write as long as you keep up with the different storylines and keep the pages from tangling up. Of course, I am not suggesting a crappy plot or anything, I'm just saying you should be wary of how you post it. You may want to write a few chapters out for each choice before posting it, or finishing it then posting it.
So, I am hoping many people will reply to this because I, and many other otakus, have been wanting some good CYOAs.
Here are some guidlines:
1] It is reader-insert.
2] Be sure to put a good amount of chapters in.
3] When leading from one scene to another, it is okay to take an earlier scene and have a question that sends the reader to a scene displayed at a different point. Just don't tangle the plotlines. It will get really confusing.
4] Plan out how you are going to organize everything after writing the stories, for the most part. It isn't required, but it will probably make things easier.
5] It is okay to kill the reader. Not in real life, but in the story. They can always go back and make another choice. I wouldn't Make every story end in their death, but a few choices ending that way is no big deal. So long as they can live with another choice.
If you have any questions, contact me or just look for an example. They are hard as anything to find, though. Hince this challenge.
Any and all anime are welcome. Have fun!
