To keep it simple, I can adapt to your preferences and check for anything you want me to. All you need to do is specify. ;D

I can also provide you with personal feedback if you wish. Whether you want harsh criticism, constructive criticism, or praise... once again, you just need to say so. I must warn you that you will probably receive some praise whether you asked for it or not. I can be quite an optimist.

As you can see in the top right-hand corner, I will pretty much check your story for everything unless I'm instructed otherwise. But let me take this chance to elaborate ~~and take up more space for my beta profile than necessary~~ on each of them so you know what to expect if you decide to ask me to look over your stories.

Spelling: I'm quite a stickler for accurate spelling. While I usually don't speak as eloquently as I would like to, I like to believe that I have a decent-sized vocabulary, so I'll definitely be able to spot most (if not all) spelling errors. Although I don't use the American spelling for certain words (i.e. I write "colour" rather than "color", etc.), I've accustomed myself to both ways of spelling.

Grammar & Punctuation: Tied in with spelling, I'm very strict when it comes to mistakes regarding homophones. I suppose that you can also call it one of my biggest pet peeves. Regarding punctuation, I can point out any excess or lack thereof, but I usually make suggestions for it. :) After all, we each have our own writing style.

Characterization & Plot Elements: I honestly try my best to broaden my knowledge by trying to get into as many fandoms as possible. While it allows me to help more people, the previous fandoms get pushed to the back of my mind. No worries, though -- I've only listed fandoms that I'm certain that I can follow along with, though some better than others. However, I may only have a little -- if any -- knowledge for certain instalments within fandoms that have multiple ones. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding a specific category.

Plot: This has to be my weakest point when it comes to ongoing works of fiction. Although it ties in with the overall impression, it may take me some time to come up with a firm opinion on the plot. I can provide little blurbs as the story progresses, or assess each chapter individually if the story has more than one chapter. Otherwise, I'll be able to grasp it more quickly.

Overall Impression: I praise people a lot. Not to be nice, but because they deserve it. I'm an honest person, after all. You may think that I just went off on a tangent while you're reading my critiques/reviews, which is pretty much what I do (haha), but there's a reason for it all. If, by chance, I'm not in the greatest of moods or occupied by real life, it'll probably be more concise.

I grew up in Canada, so I may or may not spell certain words differently than you. This can also apply to slang, but that shouldn't be much of a problem. It's just a little heads up!

When it comes to different languages, the only other one I know apart from English is French. I've been studying it for almost eight years now, so I do know a little more than the basics. Aside from that, I'm capable of understanding basic Tagalog (Filipino), as well as bits of German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese. (The limited Japanese being words and phrases I've learned through anime and fan-patched video games.)

Regarding my writing background, I've been an on-and-off fan fiction writer for about five years now. Why "on-and-off"? Let's just say that inspiration and I have a complicated relationship. No matter what though, I've always loved writing both prose and poetry, as well as admiring all forms of written work. I've learned a lot over the years, but I have to say that out of all the places I've been, Luna has taught me the most lessons.

I am a validated author here. (Woot woot! ~~Yeah, I can't believe it either.~~) I may not be the best, but feel free to consult me if you have questions. :)

As a student, I may not be able to respond as soon as possible, especially when there are exams and major assignments. I also try to be as thorough as possible, so that may also affect the waiting time. However, I do improve over time – not just with my beta reading/editing skills, but as well as with productivity. So please don't lose faith in me, because I'll never lose faith in you. ^_^

STORY RATINGS do not matter to me... but I suppose it wouldn't be alright for a student like me to read explicit Adult content.

STORY WARNINGS also do not matter to me. However, what I absolutely will NOT read is stated below in my “Will not read” section.

I will accept all STORY TYPES. I'm accustomed to reading Reader-Inserts, but I certainly don't mind reading stories involving Original Characters. Length-wise, I also accept all types, whether it's a one-shot, novel, and so on.

While this isn't a requirement, I would love to beta read for someone that would also be willing to beta read for me. After all, one of the best ways to learn is from each other, right? So if you are a beta reader as well, or if you would be willing to beta for me, then don't forget to mention it when you contact me. :)
