I have a quick announcement
To try and keep communication between writers and readers, as well as between fellow writers, I finally got a twitter account that I plan on using. Much to my frustration, SoundofSapphire was already taken. So, my username is SoundSapphiric. I'll let everyone know when I'm making serious progress with the next chapter of a story, when chapters get posted, when older chapters of BVSC are finally re-edited and re-posted, and I'll ask you guys some questions. For example, I asked if people wanted me to take the next section of BVSC and make it one really, really long chapter, or split it into two chapters. My tweets (I hate that word), will be short and simple. I was originally using a Livejournal for this, but I hate the way that site works. So, no more of that. Remember, SoundSapphiric. Or, you can search for me by using my email address at the bottom of my profile. Okay? Okay.

Black Velvet and Southern Comfort Updates
This story is being so massively edited that it almost feels like I'm writing it all over again. Errors are being corrected. Some scenes have been entirely re-written. Below is my posting progress. Also, each edited chapter will have the date it was re-posted in the author's note.

I love the taste of coffee. Actual coffee. Not that Starbucks dessert-in-a-cup coffee, but it's nice on rare occasions.

I hate watching TV.

I always have music on. It's what gets me motivated to take on life.

I almost always have my nails done, and I always do them myself.

My life's motto is, "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." I even have it tattooed around the scars on my back.

I'm a sarcastic bastard.

I curse entirely too much.

I also chain-smoke like it's my job.
