About: Just your average twenty-two-year-old writing fan fiction for media involving middle-aged actors. The name is Straw. I have a bachelors degree in English and Writing and I’m currently halfway to getting my masters in English. I am Christian (nondenominational), feminist (frequently mistaken for straw), and vegetarian (life-long). Currently, I live in Texas with my mom and dad, and my younger brother when he’s home from school. I hope to change this situation soon after graduating. I also have a part-time job, where I am saving up for a down payment on a small house.

I love writing and hope to be involved in it in a professional capacity. As I generally find my original ideas boring, I use fan fiction to hone my craft while brainstorming. I did write a novel once (bits and pieces of which you can find on my DeviantArt account), but it turned out poorly and will never see a publishing company. However, I am always reading books, taking classes, and trying to understand how I can better improve my prose!

Also, if you ever find a problem in something of mine, please tell me. I'll respond with embarrassment and probably sadness, but I assure you that the problem lies with my own personal feelings, and not you. I wish I were perfect! Alas, I am not. I'd rather feel sad that I made a mistake, fix it, and keep my validation than think everything is okay and get that taken away.

After one particularly destructive outburst, Clint Barton is called in to clean things up. Lucky for her, he's got a bad habit of picking up strays and taking them home.
