About: Just your average 21-year-old writing fan fiction for media involving middle-aged actors. The name is Straw. I have a bachelors degree in English and Writing and I’m currentl one year in to getting my masters in English. I am Christian (nondenominational), feminist (frequently mistaken for straw), and vegetarian (life-long). Currently, I live in Texas with my mom and dad, and my younger brother when he’s home from school. I hope to change this situation soon after graduating. I also have a part-time job, where I am saving up for a down payment on a small house.

I love writing and hope to be involved in it in a professional capacity. As I generally find my original ideas boring, I use fan fiction to hone my craft while brainstorming. I did write a novel once (bits and pieces of which you can find on my DeviantArt account), but it turned out poorly and will never see a publishing company. However, I am always reading books, taking classes, and trying to understand how I can better improve my prose!
