Summary: Hazel is a young girl living "peacefully" with her parents in the small town of Heathermound. Until, everything goes wrong. Her life turns completely upside-down when her best friend does something strange to her, and has to randomly leave town. As her life progresses, she physically changes from her friends actions and has to leave town to live by herself at a young age; but shes not alone. She is helped by a feared demon, and transformed into a strong, willful warrior. Hazel is faced with many struggles through her life, but continues to strive to find the answers to her many, many questions.
