Featured Stories

Because we had downtime, September's featured theme has carried over into October. The nomination theme for September/October was "AU Appreciation." We have one featured story.

Aberrations by Goodfellow (Spiderman, Marvel Comics, Deadpool, 17+)

Congratulations to you.

November's Featured theme is "Animals". From a cute and fuzzy companion to Nemo to the Big Bad Wolf, any story featuring an animal as a major character qualifies. Nominate over here on the forum.

Challenges

Our featured challenge for September/October was All That Glitters is Gold. There were no responses.

Because we have a beta test and a relaunch coming up, we'll be holding off on Challenges until we move to the new site. We will still have Featured Stories during this time.

News

For those of you with stories sitting in the queue, they should be emptied out this week. The site was down for the mods as well as users. Only Dia had access to anything during the downtime, so we realize that a few stories have been sitting in there for a long time due to the down time. We thank you for your patience.

When we get very close to the relaunch, the queue will close for a couple of weeks so we can clear it out and the archive can transfer to the new system with an empty queue. This is still a couple months away. You will be told when it happens.

Just a reminder, anyone who would like to see the status of the revamp can do so at beta.lunaescence.com.

Volunteer For Lunaescence!

Ahead of the Revamp, we’re looking for Volunteers to give a hand around site. As a Volunteer, you’ll help shape the future of the site through the creation of original materials. You’ll provide suggestions and feedback, and be given an insider’s look at things to come. We’re looking for people of all backgrounds and skills sets. Whether you excel in writing page content, creating snazzy graphics, are a hobbyist coder, or just have an exceeding amount of free time on your hands—we’re sure we’ll find something you’re good at.
In short, Volunteers will have a close role in helping to usher in Lunaescence’s future, though without the full responsibilities of a Moderator.
There aren’t any rigid restrictions to apply, though preferably we’d love users have been a member of the site for at least 3 months, and thus, are likely familiar with our policies and standards. However, this isn’t a hard requirement. Tell us how or why you want to help and things you’re good at.

If there’s tasks suited to you, we’ll be sure to let you know.
