Welcome to my page!
So why do I write? Because I enjoy it! Life experiences, and themes/subject matter from books, TV shows and movies spark my imagination. I started writing at age five (5), and my parents discovered my poetry back then. Throughout my school years, the majority of my teachers never stopped pushing me to become a better, seasoned writer. This could not be possible without reading first.
I'm a firm believer in the following virtue: The more you read, the more you will receive; so when you write, you have so much to give.
I've received tons of exposure from a variety of authors and genres. Some of my favourite titles include:
The Outsiders (S. E. Hinton), Macbeth (William Shakespeare), Of Mice and Men (John Steinbeck), Lord of the Flies (William Golding), Othello, Two of a Kind (series), Leslie's Journal, Captain Underpants (Dav Pilkey), Forever (Judy Blume), Confessions of a Heartless Girl, Night (memoir by Elie Wiesel), The Babysitters Club (series by Ann M. Martin), The Berenstain Bears (series by Stan and Jan Berenstain), The BFG (Roald Dahl), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, King Lear, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, The Twits, The Bailey School Kids (series), and...
Allow me to give a special shout out to Robert Munsch, who continues to keep my inner child engaged, and to Maya Angelou, whose poetic flow never ceases to amaze me!
Many of these prominent writers have inspired me to dive into the world of writing, and I would read their published works over and over again (some titles, I couldn't remember, were not listed here - but I've had the pleasure of reading other books from these authors).
During my adolescent years, I wrote fanfics (Sailor Moon, DragonBall Z, Cardcaptors, Digimon, Megaman, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, and 6Teen), as well as original short stories. I've also written and recited some poems for Black History Month and Remembrance Day (both in school and the community), and received more exposure during the Caribbean Celebrations in my hometown.
Then I've started "Adulting"... which didn't stop me from writing, but it did a lot of damage to my ability to express myself. It also prevented me from sharing any of my work overtime. Also, hardware troubles with my previous laptop created a major time lapse. Finding the right types of people who are also receptive, creative and diverse was not an easy task (at first). Don't get me wrong, being a grown-up has its perks, but the real question comes from whether or not your time is invested well, in everything that you do. So I've made the necessary changes, pursued two careers, volunteer regularly, found a few new hobbies, and linked up with a variety of poets and spoken word artists (where I currently reside). So that's where I'm at.

I've joined this site on my Birthday (finally), and I'm looking forward to reading some amazing fics, interacting with other writers, and grow as a writer myself. I've started planning stories for DragonBall Z, Gundam Wing, and Ouran High School Host Club. I'm also planning two original pieces, but there is a high chance they won't get posted here (unless I find a publisher ;) ). You will also see some of my poetic pieces posted here (ratings will vary). When all is said and done, I've had my fun in the twilight zone.
What more can I say? I'm a Tuesday baby! Four is my lucky number. Fire is my element. I'm a snake in the Chinese zodiac. My name in Japanese means "true wisteria" and "very fine in Autumn". Diamond is my birthstone, and the Sweet Pea is my "Earth Strong" flower.
Pleased to meet ya!
I can also be found on FanFiction and AO3 (Archive of Our Own) under the same pen name.
