What are you watching?

Or reading, writing, etc.

As someone who's always painfully out of the loop when it comes to media/popular culture (seriously, ask me what's a show everyone watches now: I'm 80% sure I'll guess incorrectly), I'd love to hear what shows you all are watching or streaming. Heck, it doesn't even have to be a show, really: books, movies, comics, fandom, games, or anything you enjoy.

Tell me your favorite show, new obsession, book you've been dying to read, or story you started writing. I'm all ears, and definitely interested into getting into new shows/movies/whatever you throw my way (:

Oh my frig, I wrote out everything and then put a little heart at the end of one of my first paragraphs and everything else got deleted, wow, why do I never learn?! Okay, let's do this again... Ooooh yes, I have so many things going on. Keep in mind I'm sitting around waiting for a couple bones to heal, so I've got a lot of unexpected time of my hands lol!

I'm playing the PS4 Spider-Man game and I'm about halfway through it. It's really good! I like how they've written Spidey, he's very quippy, so that's nice to see. I thought they did a good job with his characterization. Also I revisit Fallout 4 like every week to screw around. I don't know that I'll ever get tired of that game!

I'm watching the last season of My Hero Academia! (finally) and augh I just love all of the characters, they're wild. I'm really liking one of the villains, Twice. Also, Yagi is just such a pure lil fella. What a character. I'm also rewatching Game of Thrones with my boyfriend, since he's never seen it before. We're just starting season 4. I haven't seen the newest season however, so no spoilers!

I recently finished reading Funny, You Don't Look Autistic by Michael McCreary, which was an great read! He's an autistic comic and the book kinda goes over his life and how he got into comedy and such. It was real funny, down to earth and motivating. I've also juuuust finished reading Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, which is an eastern philosophy book about non-action and acceptance. It's a very thoughtful read, and I intend to go through it again sometime soon at a slower pace in order to really absorb and think about the passages. I wanted to give it a solid read through first, however! I've started the Picture of Dorian Gray for the first time. The writing is just so flowery and beautiful and I'm really enjoying the flow of it. I'm not too far into it yet, but it's been a nice book so far. Lastly, I've been reading the Isn't It Bromantic SpideyPool comic series as the books have been coming out. Sadly, I haven't been able to grab the last one as I can't drive right now because of the whole broken bone thing and the big bookstore is like an hour away since I've moved into the country (but it's so beautiful and honestly I can't do big cities). Ah well. I'm sure it'll be waiting for me when I finally get around to getting out there.

Wow, 10 years later I finish my comment, lol. What about you? What are you into right now?

Not gonna lie, I'm not a big movie/tv show person. Literally, my tv doesn't budge from the Travel channel lololololol. Ghost Adventures, Destination Truth, A Haunting, Mysteries at the Museum (and literally anything else that's paranormal for that matter) are generally what I love to watch. Otherwise, I just open Netflix and watch a standup comedy special. Wanda Sykes just released a new one and it's good! I also watched Elen DeGeneres's new special too. Super good. I recommend!!

As for video games, I just finished a new game called A Plague Tale: Innocence. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. My only gripe would be the weapon usage and the last "chapter" of the game. (Not the "technical" last chapter. The Epilogue was fine, but the chapter with the resolution.) I had the Demyx battle from Kingdom Hearts 2 vibes all over again because of how many times I died. It was the only mildly annoying thing. Otherwise, it's pretty decent. enjoy being sneaky in games.

The only books I've been reading recently are tarot books. That and work material. But I know no one wants to hear about development plans and leadership competencies lololol.
