So Many Ideas, So Little Time

I've had soooooooo many ideas these past few months of things I want to write, but I just haven't actually sat down to write. Like, I've been lingering around, but I haven't put any of that effort toward writing--totally sorry about that. I wish there was technology that would just take the daydream/story that I have visualized in my head and just transfer it to a document on my computer. When that gets invented let me know. Okay? Okay.

Aside from fanfiction daydreams and story ideas, I've also been playing with an idea for a piece of original fiction. The story basis is something that I've been thinking about for a while now, but haven't really done anything with it. It's basically an idea about the afterlife with a bit of a supernatural twist. I just don't know how many people would actually be interested in reading it. Granted, it's only an idea that still has to have all the elements around it built. I guess I'll play with it a little bit and run some test plots across a few friends and see what they think.

My work life is still hectic, and it's only expected to become more hectic with yet another transfer. In my ten year career with this company, this will be my fourth store to work at. That's also not including the other five other stores I've substituted at when they needed manager help. Granted, it's great to be relied upon like that, but at the same time...it kinda just feels like I'm being used in a sense. I'm pretty damn good at what I do, but I honestly don't get complete fulfillment from it. I just always feel like there's something else I could be doing instead. Granted, I have no clue what that could be, but I'm not really in a financial position to start from the ground up. And when I get transferred to a new store, each time there's a pay increase because I'm going to bigger and bigger stores. Ugh. It's just a vicious cycle lol.

On that note, I'll still be around. Thankfully this time I'm not actually moving cities--just stores. (San Antonio IS pretty large, after all.)
